My BackgroundI have had many experiences with children throughout my life. I have two younger sisters, ages fifteen and nineteen who I have helped many times with homework and life lessons over the years. In the winter, I volunteer in my hometown arena to assist young children with the first steps of learning to skate. On weekends, I tutor a fourteen year old with a developmental delay, which ultimately inspired my to become a special education teacher. In the past I was a senior camp counsellor for the Brock Township Summer Day Camp for three years which included children from ages four-twelve. For five years and counting, I have been a relief worker at Pryde St. Joseph's Catholic School Day Care where I have worked in the infant, toddler, preschool, and school age room. Finally, during my first year of supplying, I have started tutoring for four more families!
